Ashford Publishing would like to congratulate Elizabeth Carlin, an educator from Ogden, Utah, on her successful radio show. Ms. Carlin specializes in Special Education for reading and math with students who have special needs. Common special needs include challenges with learning, communication challenges, emotional and behavioral disorders, physical disabilities and developmental disorders.
The key to her success is patience and diligence. Using her expertise, she accommodates or modifies her instructional techniques to fit each students needs. Elizabeth’s most gratifying aspect of her career is being able to help children, who previously could not read, or learn to read. Ms. Carlin received her B.A. from the University of Iowa, an M.A. from the University of Phoenix, and is affiliated with the Children’s Justice Center, located in Salt Lake County.
