New Book “Travelling the Road of Peace and Happiness” by Bob Myers Guides Readers to Transform Conflict into Creative Conflict

It’s up to us whether conflict is the path to destruction or peace. Everyone experiences conflict with other people, some on a daily basis. But whether or not this conflict is blown out of proportion or resolved peacefully is up to each individual.

It can be challenging to seek peace of mind and happiness when encountering conflict. Travelling the Road of Peace and Happiness by author Bob Myers combines both concepts and shows how people can discover peace and happiness by transforming conflict into creative conflict. He explains how people have already gained a sense of right and wrong, and learned how to resolve conflict, through early childhood experiences in whatever was ‘home’ for them, and carried it into adult life

In this book, Myers defines “conflict” as any situation where there is a clash of needs and the principles involved are the same whether conflict occurs in a family, at work, or between nations. He points out that conflict is inevitable in all human relationships, so people already have a great deal of experience dealing with conflict and know it affects them emotionally. Travelling the Road of Peace and Happiness uses simple family scenarios to expose the effects competition and domination have on relationships, while exploring the healing power of nonviolence.
